Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention for Beginners

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until May 11, 2022
Falls are the number one cause of injury in adults over 55. 1 out of 3 adults over 65 fall each year. Falling once doubles your chances of falling again. Falling is NOT inevitable. Tai Chi has been proven to be a specific fall risk reduction exercise program. Tai chi combines the physical components of leg strength, flexibility, range of motion, and reflexes; along with the mindfulness of coordination and balance.
MercyOne Health & Fitness Center is offering this beginners Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention – (In-person)
8 week class – 2x/week (16 sessions) starting 03/21/22 and goes until 5/11/22
M & W 10:30 – 11:20am; Pre & Post balance testing will be offered
